Fiat, the new parent to Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler, wants to shuffle the brands and bring Chrysler up-market. Fiat also plans to set paths for the Dodge and Jeep brands, including possibly adding a new “Ram” brand for trucks.
Following a bankruptcy reorganization and a recent loss of control to Fiat Group, the Dodge Viper was slated to cease production in December 2009. Luckily for the V10 sports car’s enthusiasts, Chrysler just announced that the Dodge Viper will continue production at its Conner Avenue Assembly plant, where it has been assembled since 1995.
